How to Explore Electronic Signature Options

As an independent provider, you are welcome to use what works best with your practice and the contracted school.

Google Workspace has recently added e-signature options:

Other electronic signature options include:

DocuSign
Adobe is an option if you have the right Adobe license. Creative Cloud allows you to open a PDF into a Word Doc, but there is a monthly service fee.
Some providers and schools use more classic, retro methods, such as signing your name on a piece of paper, taking a picture of it, and uploading it to your computer, then saving it as a JPG. Others might print the page, sign it, then scan it and email it back (for schools that require a blue Ink signature). Other districts use the annotate feature of Zoom during the IEP meeting to gather electronic signatures.
There is also the Google extension app Kami, which has a signature tool. Here's a YouTube video on this option, if you are interested!
