Utilization Tracking on Insight FAQs

Do "0" data pieces impact by Average? No: the data indicated as a 0 or N/A does not impact the data collected for formulas.
What if my Indirect time is below or above?

Averaging the indirect time over the month and allowing for a 3-month average to help adjust starting contracts provides flexibility for clinicians' needs.

If you are a little below or a little above in your real-time tracking, you can look ahead and adjust to flex more or less time over the remaining weeks of the month.

Why does my tracker data not use my first day of work?

Using the first day of the contract allows for unbalanced case management time when direct time is not being considered and could misrepresent clinical work.

The use of the first day of documented services allows clinicians to represent hours of work, including their indirect and direct time.

When is the most accurate data collected? The most accurate review is the Sunday after the end of the month. You can use Utilization Tracking in real time; weekly documentation will help provide you with the most accurate view of your time work.
Can I adjust the calendar to look at a specific time? You are able to adjust the end date; however, the start date is pre-set. There is no option to provide a range at this time, but it is being reviewed for ongoing options and features for service providers.
